About
I'm a theatre director and photographer born in Tirana living and working in Brussels. After studying fine arts at a young age, I graduated in theatre directing from the Academy of Arts in Tirana and pursued my interest in filmmaking at the European Film College in Ebeltoft. I've been experimenting with different media, ranging from painting and photography to video and stage performance. My work is a continuous research for the seamlessness coexistence of narration and the medium’s expressive features. It is in this very conjunction that the "acts" are born, out of necessity to claim themselves as a byproduct of storytelling and form. Accepting ambiguity as a constant reality, I consider my art as a physical act, building upon intent and improvisation. I continue to develop my work at Globe Aroma, a open co-workspace and dedicated atelier.
